I think, indeed there is certain distance between Chinese injection mold steel material and Germany-Janpanese brand material especially for life of mold/tool. But distance is narrow for cold work plastic injection mold steel like 1.2379/D2/SKD11, 1.2080/D3,1.2436/D6,etc. That's why we sell it very good in Chinese market. To solve this prob. you want to know the root cause of this .warepage is due to non-uniform cooling from non-uniform filling so you can increase filling speed as fast as possible especially in thin wall product.
You get what you pay for, and most of the time you get less than you pay for, it is sad that price now dictates quality, cheaper is not always better. The best advice I ever got was, "If you got a $10 head, buy a $10 helmet". It sums up my approach to everything. And why I will insist on American/Canadian or German steel in my injection molds. While paying more doesn't necessarily guarantee a better product, at least for industrial supplies, it usually does mean you get a superior product, and raw materials are no exception. For those reasons and for the behavior the Chinese government continually demonstrates in contempt towards its own people and the world and all that is decent, not one penny of my co***ny's money will be going to China when it can be avoided. |
